The Amrita Schools of Medicine are a network of medical schools located in Kochi and Faridabad, India. They are associated with Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, a private deemed university. The World Health Organization (WHO) and the Indian National Medical Commission (NMC) have granted the Amrita Schools of Medicine their accreditation.

Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, a spiritual guide and humanitarian from Kochi, Kerala, established the first Amrita School of Medicine in 2002. In 2022, a school in Faridabad took over from the previous one. The purpose of the schools' establishment was to give students from all backgrounds access to top-notch medical education. Research is a major focus area for the Amrita Schools of Medicine.

Exams Accepted:  NEET 

• A  college called Amrita Schools of Medicine, Faridabad, Haryana
• Along with MD and MS programs at the PG level, the college offers an MBBS program at the UG level.
• Applicants to the MBBS program must have earned a PCB in Class 12 or its equivalent from an accredited board.
• A valid NEET UG score will be used to determine admission.
• A recognized university's MBBS degree in a relevant discipline is a prerequisite for admission to the MD and MS programs.
• Depending on the NEET PG score, admission to the MD/MS program will be granted.

Placements: The highest package offered is Rs.30 Lacs per year for NRI quota and Rs.18 to 20 Lacs for general quota students. 90% of the students go for PG entrance exams, rest get placements in a good hospital including Aster, AIIMS, KIMS. Job placement for students from Amrita is 100% as it is a very reputed college and they also have a tie up with Cambridge University.

Infrastructure: The School of Medicine building provides houses, laboratories, lecture halls and a well-furnished central library complete with an outstanding collection of the latest editions of international and Indian medical books and journals. It also provides electronic access to many scientific and medical databases in India and abroad. An Anatomy Museum has been established with all the latest teaching devices with elaborate models detailing the different parts of the human body. The library has computer facilities with internet. There is no Wi-Fi in the campus or hostel. 

Faculty: The resources are extremely skilled, knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. The finest aspect of the college is its faculty. The Medical Council of India's guidelines serve as the foundation for the curriculum. There are theory classes and practical sessions for this course. In the second year, clinical specialists lead classes that emphasize the significance of clinical exposure.

Scholarship

• Amrita scholarships have been given out for any one program during the academic year, renewable once. The scholarship has a one-year expiration date and is renewable annually in accordance with the student's behavior and academic standing.
• Only tuition fees are waived for recipients of scholarships, and the amount of the waiver varies depending on the scholarship's category. This is absolutely non-negotiable and cannot be changed to reflect a different fee category or be replaced with cash.
• Regardless of the kind and value of the scholarship and/or study support donations, no student may hold more than one scholarship at once.
• The evaluation standard for scholarship renewal or termination, along with any applicable renewal conditions, will be determined by the Scholarship Committee. 

Hostel :

Hostel  has good facilities with an accommodation of 3 people in a room in first year and 2 people in a room from second year. The rooms are pretty spacious. Gym facilities are available in the hostel. Food in the mess is average and lastly there is a basketball court in the hostel and a cafe too.

Neither the hostel nor the campus have Wi-Fi. The hostel offers comfortable accommodations, with rooms that can accommodate three people in the first year and two people in the second year. The rooms are rather roomy. The hostel has a gym available for use. Finally, there is a basketball court and a cafe in the hostel in addition to the mediocre food at the mess.
