Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have completed their 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as core subjects.
• They should have passed the NEET 2025 (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) with qualifying marks, as NEET is mandatory for MBBS admissions in Telangana.

Online Application

Applications are submitted online at counselling committee website https://www.knruhs.telangana.gov.in/, where students can choose their preferences for colleges.

Counselling Process

After NEET, qualified candidates are shortlisted and invited for the counselling process. The counselling includes document verification and seat allocation based on merit and preferences.

Final Admission

Once a seat is allocated, students must report to the respective college and complete the admission formalities.

Points To Remember If You Want to Pursue MBBS Course from Telangana

• The candidate should have qualified in NEET UG - 2024 exam by securing marks of cut off score and above.
• NEET UG - 2025 merit ranks shall be the basis for the selection into MBBS and BDS Courses subject to these regulations.
• The number of MBBS/BDS seats for the academic year 2025-26 will be as permitted by NMC/DCI and notified before counselling.
• Tuition Fee will be as notified by the State Government.
• In case any new MBBS/BDS seats are permitted by NMC/DCI in Private Medical and Dental colleges affiliated to the University for the Academic Year 2025-26, those seats also will be filled up. No further notification will be issued.
• Seats in Army Dental College are reserved for Army wards as per AWES Regulations.
• Seats in Un-aided Minority Medical Colleges are reserved for Muslim Minority Candidates only. In case Muslim Minority Candidates are not available the seats may be filled up with non-minority students up to maximum of 30% after Mop-up Phase of counselling.
• Seat matrix for Management Quota seats for academic year i.e., 2024-25 will be displayed in the KNRUHS website before exercising web options for counselling.
• 85% of the seats under Management Quota Category B for MBBS/BDS Courses are reserved for local candidates from Telangana state in accordance with GO.Ms.No.130 HM&FW (C1) Department, Dated:27.09.2022. The remaining 15% of the seats are open to candidates from all over the country along with local candidates. Local area status shall be as defined for Competent Authority Quota.
• Candidates from all over the country are eligible for admission into Management Quota Category C (NRI) seats for MBBS/BDS Courses.
• Foreign Students / NRI candidates are eligible for admission into MBBS and BDS Courses under Management Quota Category –C Seats. Candidates should specifically put the option for NRI Category in the on-line application to be considered for NRI / C-Category.
