420 New MBBS Seats Added in Madhya Pradesh NEET UG 2025 Counselling

In a major boost for medical aspirants, the Directorate of Medical Education, Madhya Pradesh has announced the addition of 420 MBBS seats in the state’s NEET UG 2025 counselling from Round 2 onwards.

📌 Key Highlights of the Update

• New Government Medical Colleges:
  The National Medical Commission (NMC) has approved two new government medical colleges in Sheopur and Singrauli, each with 100 MBBS seats.
  ➝ For Round 2 counselling, 85 seats per college (170 total) under the State Quota will be available for students.

• Index Medical College, Indore:
  Following a directive from the Delhi High Court (22nd August 2025), 250 MBBS seats from Index Medical College, Indore, have also been included in the counselling process.

✨ With these additions, a total of 420 MBBS seats have been introduced in the second and subsequent rounds of counselling.

⏳ Upgrade Option for Candidates

Candidates who wish to change or upgrade their current seat allotment can use the “Willingness to Upgradation” option available in their candidate login.
